Finca La Senda is a family-run farm led by Arnoldo Pérez and Maria Eugenia Escobar in the Acatenango region of Guatemala, at an altitude of 1850 m.a.s.l. Thanks to the rich volcanic soil and unique climate, this is a place where coffees are produced that rank among the most sought-after in the specialty coffee market.

The story of the farm is deeply rooted in the hard work and dedication of the Pérez family. Together with other families from the village of Aldea El Socorro, they carefully look after the cultivation and processing of coffee every day. Although the family tradition dates back generations, the year 2017 marked a turning point toward specialty coffee – when the farm fully embraced innovation and experimentation.

For this harvest, we present the Pache variety, processed with the Natural Champagne method.
After handpicking, the coffee cherries go through a meticulous selection, followed by 150 hours of controlled anaerobic fermentation with a special culture of champagne yeast.
The coffee then slowly dries in the shade on African beds for 25 days, creating its unique sparkling, lively, and complex flavor profile.

Finca La Senda is a place where family tradition intertwines with respect for nature and modern processing methods. From the beginning, the Pérez family has emphasized sustainability and responsible farming – every step from cultivation to processing is designed with care for both the environment and the local community.

A key milestone was the introduction of controlled fermentation processes and the use of specialized yeasts, which elevated the quality of their coffee to an international level. Thanks to these methods, Finca La Senda has become a recognized producer of varieties such as Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, Pache, Pacamara, and Geisha.

Finca La Senda represents a blend of family passion, natural richness, and modern approaches – coming together to deliver an unforgettable coffee experience.
