Discover ways to prepare excellent coffee in the comfort of your own home. You will learn how to make coffee using various alternative methods and try out variations that are closest to your preferences or the ones you use at home, such as V60, Aeropress, Chemex, and many more.

Upon receiving payment, we will send you an electronic voucher by email with a numerical code that you can use to make a reservation. Vouchers can also be purchased at our branches.

DIFFICULTY: For beginners and slightly advanced participants.

DURATION: 2-3 hours

WHERE: at our Dos Mundos roastery, Korunní 31, Prague 2

Number of participants: maximum of 3 per course

PRICE: 1900 CZK/person

OPTIONAL: Bring your own manual grinder for better practice in adjusting coarseness in home conditions.

Course content:

• You will receive text materials in which you can take notes:
• Basic information about coffee as a plant
• Coffee processing methods
• Roasting
• Coffee extraction, the processes involved in preparation
• The importance of the grinder and its proper adjustment
• Differences between different preparation methods and an overview of them
  • You will try out the method of your choice and it will be explained in more detail by the instructor.
• Basic technique is demonstrated on a V60 dripper
• The course also includes tasting various coffees.
• By comparing different home coffee preparation options, you will choose the right method for you!
• At the end, you will receive various tips and tricks, links to accessories, recommendations for coffee literature, and a small gift :)

Payment for the course must be made in advance, either by bank transfer or via GoPAY.

Basic information about the voucher:

1. DATE: the voucher is valid for 12 months after purchase.
2. Reservations on the website www.dos-mundos.cz. We add dates on an ongoing basis.
3. Reservations also at any time by email: katerina@dos-mundos.cz or by phone at 606 738 773
4. After receiving the payment, we will send you an email voucher with a numeric code with which you can make a reservation.

Conditions for the voucher:

1. The voucher must be redeemed by the date of validity indicated on the voucher. After the expiration of the validity period, the voucher is forfeited without the possibility of compensation.
2. The voucher can be used only once.
3. The voucher cannot be exchanged for money, nor will we refund the money.
4. The reservation of the course date can be made in the following ways:
   • online on the website: www.dos-mundos.cz
   • electronically at the email address: katerina@dos-mundos.cz
   • by telephone at the telephone number 606 738 773

1. The reservation of the course date must be made no later than 30 days before the expiry of the course.
2. In case of cancellation of the course date, registered participants are entitled to a free change of reservation, resp. for financial compensation in the full amount of the voucher price.
3. If the registered participants cancel the reservation of a place on the course, the following cancellation conditions apply:

a) in case of cancellation 6 or more days before the start of the course - the possibility of free change of the reservation date
b) in case of cancellation 5-3 days before the start of the course - the possibility of changing the reservation date with a fee of 40% of the course price
c) in case of cancellation 2-1 day before the start of the course - the possibility of changing the reservation date with a fee of 70% of the course price
d) in case of cancellation less than 24 hours. before the start of the course - change of the reservation reservation is impossible, the voucher is forfeited

General conditions

In case of unexpected cancellation of the course by the organizer, the registered participants are entitled to compensation. They can either use the option of free change of the reservation of the course date, or get back the paid course fee.

If the registered participants cancel the reservation of the course date, the following cancellation conditions apply:

• If the reservation is canceled 6 or more days before the start of the course - the possibility of a free change of the reservation date, or full refund.
• If the reservation is canceled 5-3 days before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 40% of the course price.
• If the reservation is canceled 2-1 day before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 70% of the price.
• If the reservation is canceled less than 24 hours before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 100% of the price.
