Sensory course is focused on comprehensive training of the senses and will enhance your skills when it comes to tasting coffee at home and in your favourite café.

During the course you will learn more about the human taste and smell receptors, how we perceive the aroma and taste of coffee and how it differs, for example, compared to wine tasting. Furthermore, what it takes to train your senses and how to apply this within your daily routine.

In the practical part you will have the opportunity to test your senses on blind samples. Gradually we will move from aromas to tasting familiar ingredients that are often applied to the flavour description of coffees, and then to tasting the coffees themselves. But this isn't just about traditional cupping of the current offerings - you'll practice looking for individual nuances in aroma and flavor in each cup of coffee and learn to better identify potential defects.

Expert commentary and explanation of the whole tasting process

Tasting different coffees with unusual training of our senses

Cupping of various coffees

Tasting our 5 basic human tastes and their mixtures 

The aroma analysis of our handmade aroma bottles containing familiar aromas such as fruit, nuts, flowers, as well as some defects

Tasting familiar tastes and flavors in water samples

Payment for the course must be made in advance, ie by transfer to an account or via GoPAY.

Basic information about the voucher:

1. DATE: the voucher is valid for 12 months after purchase.
2. Reservations on the website www.dos-mundos.cz. We add dates on an ongoing basis.

4. After receiving the payment, we will send you an email voucher with a numeric code with which you can make a reservation.

Conditions for the voucher:

1. The voucher must be redeemed by the date of validity indicated on the voucher. After the expiration of the validity period, the voucher is forfeited without the possibility of compensation.
2. The voucher can be used only once.
3. The voucher cannot be exchanged for money, nor will we refund the money.
4. The reservation of the course date can be made in the following ways:
   • online on the website: www.dos-mundos.cz
   • electronically at the email address: katerina@dos-mundos.cz
   • by telephone at the telephone number 606 738 773

1. The reservation of the course date must be made no later than 30 days before the expiry of the course.
2. In case of cancellation of the course date, registered participants are entitled to a free change of reservation, resp. for financial compensation in the full amount of the voucher price.
3. If the registered participants cancel the reservation of a place on the course, the following cancellation conditions apply:

a) in case of cancellation 6 or more days before the start of the course - the possibility of free change of the reservation date
b) in case of cancellation 5-3 days before the start of the course - the possibility of changing the reservation date with a fee of 40% of the course price
c) in case of cancellation 2-1 day before the start of the course - the possibility of changing the reservation date with a fee of 70% of the course price
d) in case of cancellation less than 24 hours. before the start of the course - change of the reservation reservation is impossible, the voucher is forfeited 

General conditions

In case of unexpected cancellation of the course by the organizer, the registered participants are entitled to compensation. They can either use the option of free change of the reservation of the course date, or get back the paid course fee.

If the registered participants cancel the reservation of the course date, the following cancellation conditions apply:

• If the reservation is canceled 6 or more days before the start of the course - the possibility of a free change of the reservation date, or full refund.
• If the reservation is canceled 5-3 days before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 40% of the course price.
• If the reservation is canceled 2-1 day before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 70% of the price.
• If the reservation is canceled less than 24 hours before the start of the course, the cancellation fee is 100% of the price.
