Situated at over 1,200 meters above sea level, Finca Aurora benefits from ideal conditions for cultivating specialty Arabica coffee. The farm operates as part of a fully vertically integrated system, meaning Sabio Coffee oversees the entire process—from cultivation, harvesting, and processing to packaging and export. This guarantees consistent quality and transparency at every step.
The farms grow varieties such as Parainema, Icatú, Geisha, Caturra, Java, Maracaturra, and Pacamara. All cherries are hand-picked and sorted, ensuring specialty-grade quality with SCA scores of 82–90+. The Ferrufino family also invests heavily in research and innovation in processing methods, using everything from traditional washed and honey processes to modern anaerobic fermentations with wine yeasts.
